My name is Kim Urmaza and I am here to help you transform and propel your fitness and performance potential. 

​

I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in athletic training. I am currently the Head Athletic Trainer for a high school in Hollywood, FL and am pursuing a Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a double concentration in sports performance and orthopedic rehabilitation at A.T. Still University.​

My vision is to bridge the gap between performance and rehabilitative systems to provide both athletes and the general population an integrated approach to training. 

​

In my free time, I enjoy lifting weights, running, cycling, and racing, and have completed numerous races ranging from the 5k all the way to the marathon and half-iron distances. 

​

  • National Academy for Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer

  • BOC certified and licensed athletic trainer

  • 7+ years sports medicine experience 

  • 10+ years health and fitness experience

MY PHILOSOPHY

I AM A FIRM BELIEVER THAT THE KEY TO LONG-TERM SUCCESS LIES IN THE CONSISTENT ATTENTION TO DETAIL. MY PROGRAMMING AND TRAINING PHILOSOPHY REVOLVE AROUND FOUR FOUNDATIONAL PRINCIPLES:

1. PREPARATION: PREPARE THE MIND AND BODY TO PERFORM THROUGH A PROPER WARM-UP AND SPECIFIC MUSCLE ACTIVATION EXERCISES

2. PERFORMANCE: THIS IS AS STRAIGHT UP AS IT GETS . THE BREAD AND BUTTER . MOVE WELL AND PERFORM

3. PREVENTION: INJURY PREVENTION IS A KEY COMPONENT TO SUSTAINING ANY PROGRAM ALONGSIDE HAVING THE ABILITY TO DO WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO IN YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE.

4. PROACTIVE RECOVERY: YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE AND PERFORMANCE RELIES ON YOUR MENTAL AND PHYSICAL READINESS. YOUR ABILITY TO PERFORM AT YOUR ABSOLUTE POTENTIAL IS ONLY AS STRONG AS YOUR MIND AND BODY'S ABILITY TO RECOVER FROM EVERYDAY STRESSES. REST WELL. EAT WELL. SLEEP WELL.

EACH OF MY PROGRAMS INTEGRATE ALL FOUR PRINCIPLES TO PROVIDE AN ALL-INCLUSIVE APPROACH TO TRAINING THAT WILL PROPEL YOUR HEALTH, FITNESS, AND PERFORMANCE TO A NEW LEVEL.
